Why Youth Mental Health First Aid?

Youth Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.  This 8-hour training gives adults who work with youth the skills they need to reach out and provide initial support to adolescents (ages 12-18) who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.   Click here to register.

The 8-hour course costs $30.00 and includes a light breakfast, lunch, workbook, and Certificate of Certification.  The class will be held from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on 2/19/2020 at the Collaboratory, 2031 Jackson Street, Ft Myers, FL 33901.  To learn more about YMHFA click here.
