“Building Strong Links for Children in Need”

We can all become part of a caring community - your donations and support help children who have been abused and/or neglected.

There are many ways to help our community's most vulnerable children:

  1. Donate: offer needed items such as gifts, toys, clothing, school supplies, computers and books and learning tools OR funds that would go directly to services that children in foster care need so badly.
  2. Offer job training: offer a teen in care an apprenticeship or job with your company. Enlist your company or organization to recruit teens in care for entry level positions that can provide on the job training.
  3. Donate your services: if you are a professional, could you donate some of your time to enhance the lives of kids in care and their foster families?
  4. Sponsor a child: you can help by sponsoring a child for dance, music and art lessons, summer camps, field trips and sports teams.
  5. Free recreational passes or activities: If you own or manage a theme park, movie theatre, recreation center or sports teams offer foster families discounts on passes to events.
  6. Sponsor a children's event: sponsor a children's event, i.e. a picnic or banquet for foster parents in your community to demonstrate your support for these children that need our help so much.
